- A bank statement with minimum balance of ฿200,000 (or equivalent). If using Online Bank Statement, it must show applicant’s name and balance.
- A ticket in and out of Thailand within 60 days from arrival.
- Proof of your accommodation in Thailand: A Copy of hotel reservation/rental contract/deed. In case of residing with a family, an invitation from the host family along with a copy of their undersigned Thai ID or house registration is required (See below).
- Fee ฿6,250
Validity & Stay
- This visa has the validity of 6 months from the date of issue, ie. you must enter Thailand for the last time before 6 months.
- You will get stamped in for 60 days on each arrival.
Options
- You can get a one time 30-Day Tourist Extension at the Immigration (without leaving Thailand) for ฿1,900.
- You can squeeze almost 4 times 60 days (240 days) plus 30 days from this visa by entering Thailand for the last time just before expiration of the validity of the visa.
- You can even arrive on a 30-Day Visa Exemption and get the Tourist Visa at the Immigration and this way add yet another 30 days to your stay, totaling about 10 months.
- You can get a Re-Entry Permit if staying longer than the 6 months validity of the visa.
Border Runs
- You must leave Thailand (and re-enter) before 60 days (or 90 days if extended).

- You must report your address to the Immigration every 90 days online, by mail or in person using TM47.
