Visa Exemption
National passport holders from the following countries are entitled to exemption from applying for a visa when entering Thailand as a tourist.
The 30-Day exemption rule is expanded into a 45-Day rule, and the 15-Day rule into a 30-Day rule, for arrivals latest (currently) by 31 March 2023.

Requirements
- Passport from an approved country.
- Be visiting Thailand strictly for tourism purposes.
- Hold a genuine passport with a valid expiry of more than 6 months.
- Be able to list a valid accommodation address in Thailand that can be verified. This address can be a hotel or an apartment.
- Must have a confirmed (return) ticket exiting Thailand within 30 days. Open tickets do not qualify. Traveling overland by train, bus, etc to Cambodia, Laos, Malaysia (including en route to Singapore), Myanmar, etc is not accepted as proof of exiting Thailand.
- Provide proof of funds of at least ฿10,000 for single travelers, or ฿20,000 per family during your stay in Thailand.
People who are not eligible to enter Thailand under the Visa on Arrival scheme or Visa Exemption rule are required to obtain a visa through a Royal Thai Embassy or Consulate prior to their visit.
Restriction
There are no restrictions to the number of a visa exemptions for travellers arriving by air. Hoever, foreigners are ONLY alloved to enter Thailand TWO times in a calendar year on a visa exemption by LAND/SEA BORDER (including arrivals by air).
Extension
On each entry on a visa exemption an extension will of 30 days will be possible to get at Immigration inside Thailand against a fee of ฿1,900.
